Anonymous asked: Don't post your art on the internet for free if you don't want people using it biatchhhh

rubyetc:

okay firstly cut the attitude m’love that’s not gonna get you anywhere.

I love the fact that I can share my artwork online. I love the fact that there is an artistic community that is accessible to everyone with an internet connection. How shite would it be if the only way people could access art was by paying 20p for a quick peek? I’d like to think that most people value artists and content providers enough to ask permission to use their work and understand that it’s not just ‘there’ - that someone took the time to put it there and may well be trying to make a living from their trade. God forbid someone should want to own and take credit for something they have spent time creating. Unfortunately there are a lot of people for whom this concept seems out of reach.. soooo we will just have to keep writing our names on things, respecting others, not stealing and generally refraining from wangish behaviour in the hope that the message gets thru.

so if any of you out there have this attitude I will come to wherever you live and slit your throat with a butter knife. The farther you live from me the longer it will take. I’m very committed and I love to travel.

i love the Women Against Feminism that are like “I dont need feminism because i can admit i need my husband to open a jar for me and thats ok!” cause listen 1. get a towel 2. get the towel damp 3. put it on the lid and twist. BAM now men are completely useless. you, too, can open a jar. time to get a divorce

It’s that thing when you’re with someone and you love them and they know it and they love you and you know it but it’s a party and you’re both talking to other people and you’re laughing and shining and you look across the room and catch each other’s eyes. But not because you’re possessive, or it’s precisely sexual, but because that is your person in this life and it’s funny and sad but only because this life will end and it’s this secret world that exists right there. In public. Unnoticed. That no one else knows about. It’s sort of like how they say that other dimensions exist all around us but we don’t have the ability to perceive them. That’s what I want out of a relationship. Or just life, I guess. Love.

I don’t know if I’d call it a NECESSITY, but no one has ever been injured as a result of doing so… That I know of.
